The Organiser

Exhibitions & Trade Fairs Pty Ltd (ETF) is an industry leader in the development, management and organisation of trade and consumer exhibitions. ETF is results focussed and always seeks to provide quality service and creative opportunities for all exhibition clients whether they are partners, sponsors, exhibitors or visitors.

We organise many of Australia's largest exhibitions including the Australian Construction Equipment Expo, Irrigation Australia, Auspack and the Sydney Motor Show and our experience is measured by the 500+ successful exhibitions we have organised since 1979.

The inaugural Construction & Mining Expo 2006 (CME 2006) had an impressive result, with 3,500 qualified buyers attending the show at McCallum Park in April 2006. CME presented one of the most extensive showcases of construction, mining and related equipment and services ever seen in Western Australia with hundreds of brands on display. There was a very strong attendance from decision makers from the earthmoving and civil construction industries, as well as from government, quarry, public/municipal works, farmers, hire & rental, demolition and the road sectors.

CME Exhibitors reported strong equipment sales as a direct consequence of the Show, which reinforces how effective the exhibition medium is in being able to attract those core buyers.

Following are some quotes from CME Exhibitors:

Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd

Komatsu have again selected CME as the forum of choice to display Komatsu's latest earthmoving equipment and support services. We are looking forward to showcasing a number of premium products from our Construction and Utility equipment range that are both unique and unrivalled in terms of quality performance and innovative features. We feel CME is the most appropriate forum due to it's convenient central location and excellent media campaign that provides the best exposure that ultimately delivers the results we're looking for.

Komatsu plan to showcase the latest introductions to the Dash 6 Wheel Loader range, Dash 8 Hydraulic Excavator range and the new PC14R Utility class mini excavator which provides an impressive combination of quality and value for money.

CJD Equipment

We at CJD Equipment were more than pleased with the customer turn out and quality of displays at the inaugural CME back in 2006 and given the way it was professionally run and promoted our sales people are quite enthusiastic about CME 2008.

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd

CME 2006 was a great event. We (Hitachi Construction Machinery) found it to be a well organised event and there was a constant flow of customers from all industries through the stand and we were able to show the newly released Hitachi Zaxis-3 Excavator. This year we will be releasing the new SJ model John Deere Backhoe and we also have a full range of products for everyone to view. It is very pleasing to have an Expo of this calibre in Perth and from the results we achieved in 2006 we are very much looking forward to CME 2008.
