International Visitors

On behalf of the CMEIG (WA) and ETF National Pty Ltd, we welcome international visitors to attend this industry event.

If we can help you with your visit to Australia, please do not hesitate to contact CME on Tel: +61 2 9556 7999 or by e-mail ACollins@etf.com.au.

Overseas visitors to CME 2008 must have a Business (Short Stay) visa, even if some tourism activities are planned for part of your stay in Australia. The VISA is called a 456 VISA if it is issued as a label into a passport or a 977 visa if it is issued electronically, i.e. no label.

The electronic visa is called an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) and is available through participating airlines and travel agents overseas when people book their airline tickets. To see if your country is eligible for an ETA please go to www.eta.immi.gov.au.

For non-ETA countries, the 456 VISA can be applied for at your Australian Embassy (Missions) overseas. To find the location of your Australian Embassy go to www.immi.gov.au/contacts/overseas_intro.htm Please ensure you allow a minimum of 6 weeks to allow time for your application to process.

Once you have organised your entry into Australia don't forget to book your Travel and Accommodation. Just visit the 'Services for Visitors' section of this website to book your requirements online.

We look forward to welcoming you to CME 2008
